Job summary

SilverAspen, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to build the systems behind Foundry and Open Human Network, focusing on private-by-default design and secure data handling. You will implement end-to-end features from data model to interface and design identity-safe systems.

You will collaborate on API design, review code, and help shape how the engineering team works as it grows, with nice-to-have experience in Next.js, cryptography, and GDPR familiarity.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and API design.
• Experience building software that handles sensitive data.
• Ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs and explain them in writing.
