Job summary

Electricity Maps, a Copenhagen-based climate and energy tech startup, is building a comprehensive electricity data platform. You’ll join a product team to expose data via API, maps, and new formats, while engineers own product decisions and iterate based on user feedback.

You’ll be part of a small engineering team (4 full‑stack engineers). Your days involve building, shipping, debugging, and collaborating across onboarding, data delivery, and customer support workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience shipping full-stack features.
• Early-stage tech company / product experience.
• Product mindset with user-centric decisions in code, product and process.
• Comfortable with data-heavy products and rigor around edge cases.
• Founder mentality and cross-organizational learning to build new products.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship across the stack (TypeScript for ~95% of the surface).
• Own systems touching customers from onboarding to API data delivery.
• Decide what to build in collaboration with leadership, sales, marketing and data teams.
• Care about solutions being used, digging into analytics to understand user needs.
• Push on new ways customers can interact with our data (APIs, maps, etc.).
• Dig into bugs and edge cases.
