Job description

Help develop the software behind TinyMobileRobots’ autonomous robots and play a key role in building the next generation of robot solutions.

Develop Flutter applications for advanced robotics

At TinyMobileRobots, you become part of the Frontend team in R&D, where you work closely with specialists across software, robotics and mechatronics.

A key part of the role is to further develop TinyMobileRobots’ Flutter-based robot control application, used daily by customers to operate robots, configure settings and create layouts for sports fields and infrastructure projects. Some of your key tasks will include:

• building and enhancing Flutter applications for robot control and complex frontend workflows
• contributing to architecture decisions and technical improvements across the frontend platform
• developing and maintaining integrations between apps, robots and cloud-based services
• working with map rendering, positioning data and complex user flows
• expanding and optimizing sports and infrastructure template libraries
• participating in the full development process from specification and implementation to testing and release
• collaborating closely with Product Owners, Scrum teams and R&D specialists across software and hardware.

You will work from TinyMobileRobots’ headquarters in Malling south of Aarhus, with flexibility for occasional work-from-home days. You will join an agile Scrum environment where technical discussions, collaboration and continuous improvements are part of everyday work.

Strong Flutter profile with an interest in complex systems

You have experience with professional software development and enjoy building products where software interacts directly with hardware, positioning technologies and real-world workflows.

You are motivated by solving technical challenges and contributing to products that are used actively by customers in the field. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating closely with other specialists and influencing technical decisions across the development process.

We imagine that you have experience with several of the following areas:

• Flutter and Dart development
• state management patterns such as Riverpod, Provider or Bloc
• Android development, platform channels and native integrations
• map rendering or tile-based map solutions
• Bluetooth, WebSocket or other real-time communication technologies
• software architecture and technical decision-making
• UI and UX-focused development
• Linux and Git.

You, furthermore, have a progressive approach to using AI in software development and use AI tools with high oversight — meaning you validate outputs and ensure quality, security and technical correctness before implementation.
