Job summary

RDT is seeking a Senior Front-end Software Engineer in Copenhagen to strengthen development capacity for critical applications used across the organisation. The role focuses on building robust, scalable Angular front-end solutions with offline-first capabilities that work reliably online and offline.

The successful candidate will contribute to improving usability and performance while supporting transitions from auditors’ tools to technicians’ and operators’ workflows.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong front-end development experience with Angular.
• Experience designing, developing and deploying production-grade applications.
• Experience with offline-first applications and data synchronization between offline and online states.
• Experience with iOS or mobile application deployment.
• Experience with Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider engineering team.

We are looking for a Senior Front-end Software Engineer in Copenhagen to help strengthen the development capacity behind critical applications used across the organisation.

The team is currently working on several initiatives to improve user satisfaction, application usability and adaptability as the user base continues to expand.

One of the key challenges is supporting the transition from applications primarily used by auditors to solutions increasingly used by technicians and operational users. At the same time, the team is looking to strengthen development capacity around DIT, where the current setup has a limited number of developers.

This is an opportunity for a strong Front-end Engineer who enjoys solving complex user-facing problems and building robust applications that work reliably both online and offline.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• 7–10 years of professional software development experience
• Strong and proven experience as a Front-end Developer / Software Engineer
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Angular
• Experience designing, developing and deploying production‑grade applications
• Strong understanding of modern front‑end architecture and development practices
• Experience with mobile application architecture
• Practical experience with offline‑first applications or offline/online synchronisation
• Understanding of conflict handling and data reconciliation between offline and online states
• Experience with iOS or mobile application deployment
• Experience with Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider engineering team
