Job summary

Anticimex Innovation Center is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to strengthen the firmware team and drive development, verification, and industrialization of smart IoT devices. You will work closely with electronics, mechanics, software/cloud teams and lead initiatives to raise engineering practices.

The role focuses on low-power wireless firmware, OTA updates, and building stronger internal ownership of design and verification activities.

Qualifications

7–10+ years of embedded firmware development
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and RTOS
Experience with battery-powered IoT devices and low-power wireless connectivity
Ability to lead firmware design and coordinate with multiple teams
Professional English proficiency

Responsibilities

Develop and improve firmware for low-power IoT devices from bring-up to production release
Lead transition of firmware development from external partners to internal teams
Own firmware architecture including drivers and OTA updates
Support verification, testing, and release processes
Strengthen Stage-Gate execution and engineering workflows
Collaborate with firmware architect, electronics, mechanics, software/cloud, production
Be the technical voice to raise engineering standards and reliability
