Job summary
Anticimex Innovation Center is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to lead development, improvement and industrialization of firmware for battery-powered IoT devices. You will drive internal ownership of firmware, contribute to architecture, testing, and release discipline, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
You will work primarily from Bagsværd with some travel to Helsinge and partner locations, ensuring reliability at scale and advancing internal firmware
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of embedded firmware experience.
- Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems and RTOS.
- Experience with battery-powered IoT devices and low-power connectivity.
- Experience with OTA update mechanisms.
- Knowledge of security practices for connected devices.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience insourcing or transitioning external development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve firmware for low-power, wireless IoT devices from bring-up to production release.
- Lead transition of firmware activities from external partners to internal teams, including tooling and knowledge transfer.
- Own firmware architecture, including drivers, wireless stacks, OTA updates.
- Support verification, test planning, troubleshooting, and release processes.
- Strengthen Stage-Gate, design reviews, documentation, and controlled releases.
- Collaborate with firmware architect, electronics, software/cloud, and partners.
