Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund seeks a Senior Finance Manager to act as a strategic finance partner for the Billund Moulding & Qualifying organization, delivering insights and guiding investment decisions.

You'll collaborate with R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing, lead budgeting, forecasting and performance management, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing finance in an international environment. Hybrid work policy applies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration.
• Experience partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or R&D.
• Extensive experience in finance business partnering, controlling, or strategic finance roles in an international environment.
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights and support decision-making.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business case development.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to challenge senior leaders constructively.
• Experience driving productivity initiatives or continuous improvement programs.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

As Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Billund Moulding & Qualifying (BM&Q) organization, providing insights, constructive challenge, and financial guidance to support sustainable business performance. You will

• Partner closely with the VP of Billund Moulding & Qualifying (BM&Q) and the BM&Q Leadership Team, providing financial guidance, coaching, and strategic sparring
• Drive financial insights into strategic decision-making and act as a trusted partner to business leaders
• Monitor and challenge financial performance, ensuring key gaps, trade-offs, risks, and opportunities are identified and addressed proactively
• Lead strategic planning, financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes
• Prepare business cases and financial evaluations, highlighting financial implications and supporting informed investment decisions
• Deliver global Moulding performance reporting and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Act as a productivity partner to the business, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement and value creation
• Foster strong collaboration across R&D, Engineering, and Manufacturing to support equipment investments and future capabilities

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will help connect financial performance with operational excellence by driving transparency, challenging assumptions, and enabling better decisions across the organization.

You will serve as a key finance partner to the Billund Moulding & Qualifying (BM&Q) leadership team while also being part of the EMEA Manufacturing Finance team, a diverse team of 11 finance professionals supporting manufacturing operations across the region.

You'll work in a collaborative and international environment where curiosity, continuous improvement, and strong partnerships are central to how we operate.

Do you have what it takes?

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or R&D organizations
• Extensive experience in finance business partnering, controlling, or strategic finance roles within an international environment
• Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights and support decision-making
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business case development
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge senior leaders constructively
• Experience driving productivity initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, or transformational change programs
