Job summary

Arup in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the delivery of electrical design packages across the full project lifecycle within a multidisciplinary team. You will grow quickly in a role with strong development prospects on complex projects across Mission Critical, Science & Industry, and Healthcare.

As part of the team, you will design MV, LV, and ELV systems in a BIM environment, mentor engineers, and collaborate with architects, clients, and contractors to keep delivery

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Deep knowledge of relevant industry standards/regulations in Denmark/Scandinavia.
• Fluent communication in English and Danish/Swedish/Norwegian at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery of electrical design packages across the full project lifecycle.
• Partner with architects, discipline experts, clients, contractors, authorities, and public service providers.
• Design MV, LV and ELV systems in a BIM environment.
• Lead, coach, and review work of a team of engineers to high standards.
• Set and uphold high technical and quality standards across designs and deliverables.
• Review contractors’ design submissions and ensure compliance.
• Communicate progress, risks, and next steps to project management.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers to grow capability and confidence.
• Contribute to Arup’s Electrical Skills Network in Denmark.
• Support proposals and conversations with ideas and technical leadership.
