Job summary

QCS Staffing seeks an Electrical Design Engineer for a Copenhagen-based project in Life Sciences. The role focuses on reviewing EPCM electrical and instrumentation designs and leading design assurance reviews to ensure compliance with project standards.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Electrical/Power/Instrumentation or related fields and extensive experience with LV/MV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, and protective earth systems on major CAPEX projects in pharma or heavy industry.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Review and challenge EPCM electrical and instrumentation designs.
• Assess design compliance with project standards, regulations, and specifications.
• Challenge engineering assumptions, calculations, and technical decisions.
• Lead electrical and E&I design assurance reviews.
• Identify design risks, gaps, and coordination issues.
