Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering in Fredericia, Denmark seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead engineering activities on a construction project, coordinating design with onsite installation and commissioning to meet quality and safety standards.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, review design gaps, manage submittals, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with project schedule and budget expectations.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering.
• Experience with LV and MV systems.
• Knowledge of Design Guides, Codes of Practice, EN Standards and IEC Standards.
• Experience using Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D and MS Office.
• Experience coordinating with clients, vendors and contractors.
• 7+ years of project engineering experience in construction.
• Ability to work independently and lead on projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical design review to identify design gaps and deviations.
• Validate cable sizing and make recommendations as appropriate.
• Ensure that technical assessments are completed and issues resolved quickly.
• Compile and issue electrical technical submittals.
• Manage submittals through approvals, track procurement and deliveries.
• Attend and record regular supply chain meetings to monitor progress.
