Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer based in Fredericia, Denmark to lead electrical design activities on a construction project. You will coordinate with the project team, BIM, and supply chain to ensure design constructibility, timely delivery, and successful handover of all electrical systems.

The role requires strong technical capability in electrical services and design, experience with LV/MV systems, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 3rd level Qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering.
• Experience with LV and MV systems in building services and data centres.
• Knowledge of design guides, codes, EN/IEC standards.
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D and MS Office.
• Experience in client, vendor & contractor interaction & management.
• 7+ years of project engineering in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute various stages of projects in coordination with the project team.
• Validate cable sizing and provide recommendations.
• Ensure technical assessments are completed and issues resolved promptly.
• Compile electrical technical submittals and manage approvals process.
• Coordinate with BIM team to ensure constructibility and space for installation.
• Liaise with design team and supply chain for plant operation and handover.
• Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and information production.
