Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an Electrical Package Manager to lead the delivery of electrical systems on large-scale Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Commercial projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage a team of Engineers, Supervisors and Subcontractors to ensure safety, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This role offers progression into Project Management, exposure to client engagement, and a structured development programme

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in electrical construction project delivery.
• Experience on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or mission critical projects.
• Strong understanding of LV electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site activities.
• Knowledge of commissioning, testing and handover processes.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and cost control understanding.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review package scope, specifications and construction drawings.
• Lead Engineers, Supervisors and Subcontractors to deliver on programme milestones.
• Monitor installation progress and manage risks to delivery.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment to maximise productivity.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Provide leadership to the team and support junior members.
• Maintain strong client, consultant and subcontractor relationships.
