Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S seeks a Sr. Director for QC DK Materials & Device Analytics to lead a large Danish unit within Global Quality Control. The role oversees analytical testing and lab services across multiple materials, devices and locations, driving strategic direction and performance.

You will advance capacity, standardisation, and technology adoption while ensuring GMP compliance, inspections readiness, and a high-performing, inclusive culture across ~200–300 staff.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in large, multi-site operations.
• Experience from GMP-regulated laboratory, Quality or Manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record in delivering operational excellence and productivity gains.
• Experience leading change and capability-building across complex organisations.
• Strong systems thinking with global matrix stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction, performance, and long-term development of the QC DK Materials & Device Analytics organisation.
• Ensure compliant QC operations with GMP readiness and safety across sites.
• Build scalable capabilities and optimise capacity across laboratories and manufacturing sites.
• Drive standardisation, simplification, and improvements in analytical workflows and services.
• Develop shared laboratory services and data-driven, AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
