Job summary

Lunar is a Nordic challenger bank building the future of financial life with AI at the core. Based in Copenhagen, Lunar is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join Squad Matrix in Copenhagen to help scale the data platform and its infrastructure.

You will focus on infrastructure, deployment mechanisms and reliability for Lunar's governed data platform, partnering with data platform engineers to extend shared foundations for data-intensive workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience running Kubernetes in production for stateful or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD tooling, and GitOps workflows.
• Solid understanding of observability and production reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data-specific Kubernetes capabilities for workloads like Flink, Kafka, and distributed databases.
• Create standardised CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows and deployment automation for the data infrastructure.
• Own observability and reliability for the data platform with metrics, tracing, dashboards and automated health checks.
• Reduce manual operations via infrastructure automation and data-specific IaC.
• Collaborate with data platform engineers to extend shared foundations for data-intensive workloads.
