Unity Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform to design, build, and operate scalable data infrastructure powering Unity's Ads business and Unity Commons. You will work across distributed systems, data engineering, and platform services to enable high-throughput, reliable data flows across the organization.

You'll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver resilient, extensible platforms that are easy for teams to adopt, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in production.
• Strong backend and systems engineering skills including API design and production operations.
• Familiarity with cloud-native infra, container orchestration, CI/CD, IaC, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable platform services and backend systems used across Unity.
• Work across distributed systems, data platform, cloud infrastructure, observability, reliability, and automation.
• Collaborate with teammates and partner teams to deliver reliable, reusable solutions.
• Build systems that are reliable, maintainable, secure, cost-efficient, and easy for internal teams to adopt.
