Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Data Migration to drive adoption of the LEGO Data Platform and enable self-service data engineering across product teams. You will blend hands-on development with mentoring to accelerate migration from legacy systems.

In this role you’ll design pipelines with Python/SQL, work with Databricks or Snowflake, and leverage Spark or PySpark for large-scale processing. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Python and SQL, including designing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with a cloud data platform such as Databricks or Snowflake, and with Apache Spark or PySpark for large-scale processing.
• Solid experience with a major cloud provider (AWS or Azure), including storage, access control and deployment.
• Strong engineering practice: version control with Github or Azure DevOps, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines you have built or improved.
• Experience designing data models and handling schema changes, data quality and error recovery.
• Mentored engineers in data and software engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
