Job summary

Pleo is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain the integration architecture connecting our commercial data layer to a central BigQuery warehouse. You will own data contracts, partner with RevOps, and ensure data quality across CRM, billing, and success tooling.

You’ll work with HubSpot, Zuora, and Vitally, building scalable pipelines and governance as we scale our GTM analytics and AI-powered offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and maintaining production data pipelines in a commercial or GTM data environment.
• Strong understanding of CRM data models, APIs, and field management (HubSpot or comparable experience).
• Hands-on experience with reverse ETL patterns: pushing warehouse-enriched data back into operational tools.
• Extensive BigQuery experience.
• Experience implementing data contracts in a production environment.
• Python proficiency for pipeline development and tooling.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD experience for data engineering code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines between commercial tools (HubSpot, Zuora, Vitally) and our BigQuery data warehouse.
• Own reverse ETL flows: enrich or define data in the warehouse and push it back into operational tools.
• Implement and maintain data contracts with clear ownership, SLAs, and schema agreements.
• Partner with RevOps and the BAT team to translate data requirements into reliable pipelines.
• Build monitoring and alerting to catch data quality issues before dashboards or models.
• Centralise data flows through the warehouse to reduce point-to-point integrations.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to ensure outputs are documented for modelling.
• Engage tool owners and engineering teams to improve data quality at the source.
