Job summary

Grundfos GmbH is seeking a Senior Engineer for Cybersecurity Testing to perform advanced security testing of embedded systems and connected products in our ISO 17025 CyberLAB. You will conduct penetration testing, reverse engineering, and firmware analysis throughout the product lifecycle.

You will assess interfaces, verify regulatory compliance, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate research while developing testing procedures in a lab environment. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Multiple years of hands-on experience in penetration testing and embedded security.
• Strong knowledge of attack methodologies, reverse engineering and encryption tech.
• Solid understanding of IoT architectures and embedded software.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, or CRA.
• Experience with OT security testing and industrial protocols.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted security testing tools and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing, reverse engineering, firmware analysis, and cryptographic evaluations on Grundfos embedded systems and connected products
• Assess the security of product interfaces and communication technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, Modbus, JTAG, and proprietary wireless protocols
• Verify product compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and IEC 62443
• Leverage AI-driven tools and techniques to accelerate vulnerability research and contribute to innovative in-house testing solutions
• Develop and maintain security testing procedures, tools, and methodologies within the accredited laboratory environment
• Collaborate with product development about procedure for security test
