IMC in Aarhus is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join the local team, partnering with European colleagues. The role is hands-on, owning own workstreams and liaising with traders, developers and management across locations.

You will draw on MiFID II/MiFIR, MAR and REMIT knowledge to monitor reporting, advise on new products, and maintain the branch compliance framework while upholding high standards of evidence and English communication.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of compliance experience at a trading firm or energy market.
• Strong knowledge of MiFID II / MiFIR and MAR; REMIT experience a plus.
• Experience with algorithmic trading controls under RTS 6.
• Experience in trade surveillance or transaction reporting.
• Ability to read trade files and reports and spot anomalies.
• Independent judgement; able to explain decisions to management and regulators.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Danish or Dutch a plus.
• Based in Aarhus or willing to relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with market abuse surveillance for the energy desk; gather facts and support investigations.
• Monitor regulatory reporting (MiFIR, REMIT, EMIR, position reporting) and coordinate with Tech & MO.
• Advise desk on new products and trading strategies; support RTS 6 governance.
• Maintain branch compliance framework: policies, AML obligations, personal account dealing, training.
• Support regulator, exchange and audit interaction: AFM/Danish FSA requests, Internal Audit follow-ups.
• Keep compliance records and tracking in good order so that every decision can be evidenced.
