IMC Trading, a leading global market maker, seeks an experienced Compliance Officer for its Aarhus office. You will join the Danish compliance function, working closely with the European team across Amsterdam, London and Zug, and directly with traders, developers and management.

The role is hands-on, owning your own workstreams and defending your views. You will oversee market abuse surveillance, regulatory reporting, and governance for energy trading, requiring independent judgement and clear

Qualifications

• 5+ years' compliance experience at a trading firm, energy trading company, exchange, regulator or consultancy.
• Working knowledge of MiFID II / MiFIR and MAR.
• Experience with REMIT and wholesale energy markets is a strong plus.
• Experience with algorithmic trading controls under RTS 6 (self assessments, change management, conformance testing).

Responsabilités

• Assist with market abuse surveillance for the energy desk; review alerts and support investigations and reporting.
• Monitor branch regulatory reporting (MiFIR, REMIT, EMIR, position reporting) and coordinate fixes with Tech and Middle Office.
• Advise the desk on new products, venues and trading strategies and support governance under IMC's RTS 6 policy.
• Maintain the branch compliance framework: policies, Danish AML obligations, personal account dealing, training and attestations.
• Support regulator, exchange and audit interactions: AFM/Danish FSA requests, Internal Audit follow-ups and Local Risk Committee material.
• Keep compliance records and tracking in good order to evidence every decision.
