Mastercard is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy within the Global Open Banking team. The role focuses on building and improving cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability across environments.

The candidate should be passionate about the customer journey, highly motivated, analytical, and collaborative, contributing to a fast-paced, innovative tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Cloud and diverse AWS services.
• Strong Kubernetes experience, incl. large-scale clusters.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Programming languages: Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiar with Docker and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience in code review and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of backup/restoration for Kubernetes clusters.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementing new systems and develop processes and tools.
• Plan maintenance, upgrades, and migrations across Dev/Stage/Prod.
• Design and build resilient, scalable infrastructure with minimal downtime.
• Interface with logging, monitoring, and security vendors.
• Develop infrastructure as code and container images in Docker.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
