Egmont IT is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to build a modern, scalable platform for 120+ subsidiaries. You will operate and optimize multi‑cloud environments (Azure, AWS, with GCP exposure), automate tasks, and strengthen observability using Datadog.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, drift detection, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure stability and security. You will work in a hybrid setup based in Copenhagen, contributing to a cloud‑driven operations team that values

Qualifications

Proven cloud engineering or DevOps experience in a multi-cloud setup.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure or AWS; GCP is a plus.
Scripting skills in common languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with IaC tools; Terraform preferred.
Good understanding of networking principles.
Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog.
Experience managing Linux and Windows servers.
Working with GitHub or similar version control.

Responsibilities

Operate and optimize Egmont’s multi‑cloud environments.
Automate routine tasks and streamline operations.
Strengthen observability and proactive monitoring with Datadog.
Use Infrastructure as Code to manage changes and detect drift.
