SDU eScience Center at Syddansk Universitet in Odense seeks an expert in distributed and concurrent systems with strong Linux skills to join the cloud team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance distributed services, integrating with Slurm and Kubernetes to support large-scale HPC workloads.

Experience in Go, C, or C++, containerization, and virtualization is valued; candidates with two of the listed areas will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in at least two of the areas in the job description.
• Strong background in Linux systems.
• Programming skills (Go, C, C++, bash, …).
• Proven ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance distributed systems and services.
• Integrate with HPC schedulers such as Slurm and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Participate in full feature lifecycle from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
