Job summary

Twoday Denmark is seeking a Senior Clojure Developer to join a public sector project in Copenhagen. You will contribute to building and maintaining critical digital solutions used by citizens, with focus on stability, security and long-term maintainability.

As part of a highly skilled team, you will design, develop and maintain applications in Clojure, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with architects, domain experts and other developers in an agile environment on site in Copenhagen.

Qualifications

• Have several years of experience with Clojure (senior level).
• Strong background in backend development and functional programming.
• Comfortable working with complex, distributed systems.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and data-heavy solutions.
• Understand importance of documentation, testing, and stable operations.
• Thrive in agile development environments.
• Fluent Danish is required.

Senior Clojure Developer - Public Sector Solutions

About the role

You will become part of a highly skilled development team working onsite in Copenhagen on business-critical systems with high demands for stability, security, and long-term maintainability.

The role involves both developing new functionality and improving existing solutions, often in collaboration with architects, domain experts, and other developers. You will work in an environment where quality, documentation, and structured development are essential.

Your responsibilities
