Job summary

Twoday Denmark in Copenhagen seeks a Senior Java Developer to join our public sector solutions team. You will develop and maintain Java applications, design services and REST APIs, and contribute to CI/CD.

You will operate in an established development environment, collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, and help modernise enterprise software in a regulated context. Fluency in Danish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional Java development experience.
• Hands-on Java and Spring or Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with integrations and REST-based services.
• Experience maintaining or modernising enterprise apps.
• Strong understanding of automated testing and software quality.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern development workflows.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the team.
• Strong communication skills and understanding of the business domain.
• Fluency in Danish and English.
• Experience from large, regulated or public-sector organisations would be an advantage.

Senior Java Developer – Public Sector Solutions

We are now looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help transform a large-scale development and deployment platform from traditional DevOps into a modern AI‑assisted and agentic engineering setup.

Your role

You will join an established development environment and contribute hands‑on throughout the development lifecycle. The role requires both strong Java expertise and an ability to discuss solutions, clarify requirements and collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining business‑critical Java applications

About you
