Twoday Denmark is seeking a Senior Clojure Developer to join a public sector project in Copenhagen. You will develop and maintain critical digital solutions with a focus on stability, security, and maintainability.

You will work in an expert team on business-critical systems, collaborating with architects and domain experts. Fluency in Danish is required, and you will contribute to architecture, APIs, and high-quality backend services in an agile environment.

Senior Clojure Developer – Public Sector Solutions

Are you an experienced Clojure developer who thrives in complex, high-impact environments?
At Twoday, we are looking for a senior developer to join a project within the public sector, where you will contribute to building and maintaining critical digital solutions used by thousands of citizens.

About the role

You will become part of a highly skilled development team working onsite in Copenhagen on business-critical systems with high demands for stability, security, and long‑term maintainability.

The role involves both developing new functionality and improving existing solutions, often in collaboration with architects, domain experts, and other developers. You will work in an environment where quality, documentation, and structured development are essential.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Clojure
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions
• Build and maintain robust, scalable backend services
• Work with APIs and integrations across complex system landscapes
• Ensure high code quality, testability, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in an agile setup
