Job summary

Twoday, a leading digital transformation partner in Northern Europe, is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to guide the mobilisation and transition of a large public-sector IT delivery in Copenhagen. You will establish technical foundations, ways of working, and a collaboration model before full delivery is in place, while combining senior engineering expertise with leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role during clarification, transition and mobilisation.
• Build technical understanding of the existing application landscape.
• Support knowledge transfer from the outgoing supplier.
• Identify dependencies, risks and critical technical decisions.
• Help establish architecture, engineering practices and ways of working.
• Facilitate technical discussions across teams and suppliers.
• Support the onboarding of the wider delivery organisation.
• Ensure that decisions are understood and executable by engineering teams.
• Contribute directly in your primary technical role.

We are now looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help transform a large-scale development and deployment platform from traditional DevOps into a modern AI-assisted and agentic engineering setup.

Permanent position at Twoday | Copenhagen

Twoday is looking for a highly experienced technical profile to play a key role in the mobilisation and transition of a large, business-critical public-sector IT delivery in Copenhagen.

You will be one of the senior profiles establishing the technical foundation, ways of working and collaboration model before the full delivery organisation is in place.

This role combines a cross-cutting Senior Key Resource responsibility with one of the technical roles in the delivery.

What you will do

• Take a leading role during clarification, transition and mobilisation
• Build technical understanding of the existing application landscape

Your technical role

We are particularly interested in senior profiles within:

• Solution Architecture
• Backend Development
• Full Stack Development
• DevOps / Platform Engineering
• Quality Engineering / Test Automation

You may, for example, be a Solution Architect who can establish technical direction across teams while remaining close to implementation, or a senior engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong cross-team leadership.

What we are looking for

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder communicationAbility to create structure where responsibilities and solutions are not yet fully defined
• A pragmatic approach to technical decisions and trade-offs
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers or partners
• Fluent Danish and English

Experience from Danish public-sector IT, healthcare, regulated environments or major transition programmes is a strong advantage.

The role is onsite in Copenhagen and requires availability at short notice.
