Job summary

Corti is seeking an engineer to build the next generation of high-scale audio processing infrastructure for life-critical environments like emergency dispatch centers and hospitals. You will integrate AI capabilities into SIP/SIPREC-based systems and maintain a backend processing over 100,000 calls per day.

You will work with cloud-native architectures, REST/WebSockets, and real-time audio tech, reporting to Platform Engineering in a hybrid Copenhagen setup.

Qualifications

• Mastery of Go programming language.
• Deep understanding of network protocols (SIP and SIPREC).
• Proven track record building and scaling foundational infrastructure.
• Experience designing features with high complexity.
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing architecture.
• Experience running, monitoring, and operating REST, WebSockets, Kafka or an event-driven architecture.
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools.
• Strong code quality mindset and efficiency.
• Experience with WebRTC and real-time audio processing is a plus.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication, including remote work.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain systems processing over 100,000 calls per day.
• Develop foundational infrastructure using SIP and SIPREC.
• Integrate AI capabilities into low-latency audio processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Hands-on development of innovative solutions where design choices matter.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews with colleagues.
• Mentor developers across levels to foster strong development culture.
