Job summary

Unity is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build financial integrations across Workday, NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, and related platforms. You will write TypeScript services on GCP, design APIs, and own end-to-end production integrations, working with Finance and IT teams at the top of the finance organization.

You will set integration standards, ensure data integrity, and contribute to modernization of the iPaaS landscape with robust observability and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production-grade backend services.
• Expertise designing RESTful APIs and service boundaries.
• Experience integrating ERP/CRM/billing platforms.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL data stores and messaging.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate backend services connecting Workday with ERP/CRM and billing systems.
• Develop event-driven data pipelines on GCP with robust retry and idempotency.
• Translate partially defined requirements into concrete designs or deliverables.
• Own data reconciliation, failover handling and observability.
• Set integration standards across the team including contracts and runbooks.
