Job summary

ZeroNorth in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape our backend and drive platform modernization. You’ll design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs in C#/.NET with occasional Angular work.

You’ll lead migration from legacy systems, boost reliability and performance, and collaborate with platform teams to deploy a new agentic platform that accelerates green shipping.

Qualifications

• Deep .NET proficiency with strong C# and REST APIs.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping web apps.
• Experience with legacy system migration and modernization.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and tooling.
• DevOps experience: cloud, CI/CD, containers, IaC.

Responsibilities

• Build, design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in C# and .NET; some Angular as needed.
• Modernise by migrating from legacy systems to well-built services while keeping platform running.
• Improve reliability, performance, and observability of backend services in production.
• Deliver on the agentic platform by building fuel functionality with cross-team collaboration.
• Mentor peers, improve code quality through reviews and pairing.
