Job summary

The LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to develop fully automated Processing Equipment Solutions for decorating, pre-assembling and coating LEGO bricks.

You will take concepts through detailed design and implementation, balancing performance, safety and maintainability while collaborating with project teams and partners across the Technology Development organization. The role offers a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing fully automated, high-speed and high-precision manufacturing equipment from early concepts through detailed design and implementation.
• Proficient with mechanical design using CAD tools and technical document management systems, e.g. Siemens NX and Teamcenter or similar.
• Ability to contribute to technical decisions, planning and structured problem solving.
• Experience with testing, validation and systematic problem solving.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with others to achieve shared success.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop fully automated processing equipment solutions for decorating, pre-assembling and coating LEGO bricks.
• Take equipment from concept through detailed design and implementation, balancing performance, safety, quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with project teams and partners across the LEGO Group to translate business needs into robust equipment solutions.
• Support testing and validation activities and contribute to issue resolution.
• Align with Technology Development on scalable manufacturing capabilities for future LEGO products.
