Job summary

EDRMedeso is seeking a senior FEA Engineer to join the Technical Business Development team in Denmark, supporting customers through demonstrations, evaluations, and proof of concepts using ANSYS tools.

The role combines technical depth with sales support, requiring strong communication, business acumen, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to drive country-specific growth.

Qualifications

• Familiar and competent with the application of FEA methods – at least 10 years of experience with ANSYS tools preferred and/or other similar FEA applications considered.
• PhD or MSc in Structural Mechanics or in a similar related field.
• Have at least 5-7 years of experience in Engineering industries.
• Be business focused – aware of how the team/individuals contribute to company commercial goals.

Responsibilities

• Providing product presentations and demonstrations
• Attending trade shows and conferences
• Attending customer and site visits within Denmark
• Performing customer evaluations and proof of concepts
• Supporting customers in evaluation of additional products and capabilities

The opportunity

We are looking for a FEA Engineer to work in the Technical Business Development team and with the Revenue department, by assisting in the sales process. This exciting customer facing role will require the post holder to use and further develop extensive expertise in ANSYS products, capabilities and features.

The role will include:

• Providing product presentations and demonstrations
• Attending trade shows and conferences
• Attending customer and site visits within Denmark
• Performing customer evaluations and proof of concepts
• Supporting customers in evaluation of additional products and capabilities
• Supporting marketing with relevant technical content
• Contribute to Country specific growth
• Account development planning, working with the Sales Account Managers

What we’re looking for

The post-holder will:

• Familiar and competent with the application of FEA methods – at least 10 years of experience with ANSYS tools preferred and/or other similar FEA applications considered.
• Have a PhD or MSc in Structural Mechanics or in a similar related field.
• Have at least 5-7 years of experience in Engineering industries.
• Be business focused – aware of how the team/individuals contribute to company commercial goals.
• Be capable of working independently when required and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Be an excellent communicator.
• Be able to tackle new technical challenges often accompanied by steep learning curves.
• Be open to exploring new/unfamiliar applications using a wide portfolio of simulation tools.
• Be capable of working to both short-term and long-term deadlines with a rapid turnaround.
• Be skilled or interested in multiple applications
• Have experience with systems simulations and Reduced Order Models is an advantage.
• Have experience Programming skills with Python or APDL.
• Be a good communication and presentation skills: Fluent in both Danish and English.
• Be results driven attitude and customer-oriented thinking.
• Have a strong desire to learn new things every day.
