Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a SCADA Server Infrastructure Engineer for our client in Kolding, Denmark. You will deliver and maintain a stable, secure, scalable OT server foundation supporting SCADA services, with a focus on availability, recoverability, and operational resilience.

The role covers virtual and physical servers, lifecycle engineering, backups, migrations, and active collaboration with IT and OT teams to ensure audit-ready documentation and continuous service delivery.

Qualifications

Must have hands-on Windows and Linux server administration experience.
Proven skills with VMware/vSAN virtualization and physical server hardware.
Experience with backups, DR, and patch-management solutions.
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and domain-services integration in Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

Engineer and manage lifecycle of virtual and physical OT server environments.
Assess lifecycles and develop maintenance, upgrade, replacement, and migration roadmaps.
Plan server replacements and migrations while preserving service continuity and data integrity.
Design and validate backup, restore, high-availability, and failover for business-critical platforms.
Monitor performance, health, and capacity; identify improvements before impact.
Analyze incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive actions.
Participate in design reviews, testing, and readiness activities.
Document tasks, changes, results, and knowledge for audits.
