RDT is seeking a SCADA Server Infrastructure Engineer to deliver and maintain a stable, secure OT server foundation for energy-sector systems. You will manage both virtual and physical OT servers supporting SCADA, ensuring availability, backup, disaster recovery, and lifecycle governance.

Responsibilities include deployment, migrations, capacity planning, and security- and audit-ready documentation. Strong cross-team collaboration and English proficiency are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in IT Infrastructure or computer engineering.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux systems.
• Hands-on with virtualization (VMware/vSAN).
• Server hardware like Dell, HPE, IBM.
• Backup/DR and patch management experience (e.g., Veeam).
• Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, certificates, domain services in Windows Server.
• Security tooling such as Trend Micro Deep Security; familiarity with Splunk/Syslog.

SCADA Server Infrastructure Engineer – OT Platforms (Energy Sector)

We are looking for an experienced Server Infrastructure Engineer to deliver and maintain a stable, secure, scalable, and high-performing compute and storage foundation for OT systems in the energy sector. The role covers both virtual and physical server platforms supporting SCADA, with responsibility for availability, backup and disaster recovery, and lifecycle management of the server estate.

The role requires strong hands-on infrastructure expertise combined with a structured, documentation-oriented way of working, and the ability to deliver end-to-end while collaborating with multiple internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Engineering, deployment, and lifecycle management of virtual and physical OT server environments
• Server lifecycle assessments, including maintenance and upgrade roadmaps
• Execution of server replacements and migrations
• Design and validation of backup, restore, high-availability, and failover solutions
• Proactive monitoring of performance, health, and capacity
• Incident analysis with corrective and preventive actions, plus proactive infrastructure improvements
• Participation in design reviews, acceptance testing, and operational readiness exercises
• Planning and recording of tasks, documentation of results and knowledge
• Support for internal and external audit requirements

Requirements (must have)

• Strong experience with Windows and Linux system administration
• Good knowledge of and experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and vSAN
• Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware (e.g., Dell, HPE, IBM)
• Expertise in backup, disaster recovery, and patch management solutions (e.g., Veeam)
• Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, certificates, and domain services integration in Windows Server architectures
• Good knowledge of and experience with security solutions such as Trend Micro Deep Security, and basic familiarity with Splunk, Syslog, and similar tools
• Experience maintaining and upgrading server infrastructure across its lifecycleExperience producing detailed technical documentation of server architectures, configurations, and procedures, and supporting supplier/solution validation
• Ability to meet applicable security screening requirements (security clearance may become relevant)
• Professional proficiency in English
• Degree in IT Infrastructure, Computer Engineering, or similar, or equivalent work experience

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of OT networks and experience from SCADA, industrial, or other mission-critical environments
• Automation experience (e.g., PowerShell scripting)
