Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Software Engineer – Architecture & Infrastructure to support SAP infrastructure, automation, and platform components. You will collaborate with senior engineers to enhance cloud and on‑premise SAP environments, while building SAP architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or related areas.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Understanding of CI/CD, automation, or DevOps concepts.
• Exposure to networking, systems, or platform fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining SAP infrastructure components across environments.
• Support implementation of platform configurations for compute, storage, and networking.
• Help ensure platform stability and availability for SAP systems.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure deployments (Azure preferred) using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and environment setup activities.
• Assist in implementing monitoring, logging, and observability for infrastructure.
• Work with SAP Basis and platform teams to support deployments, patching, and upgrades.
• Assist in resolving infrastructure-related issues and incidents.
• Support ongoing lifecycle activities for SAP environments.
• Follow defined architecture patterns and infrastructure standards.
• Contribute to documentation and implementation of reusable infrastructure components.
