Job summary

Maersk is modernizing its SAP-enabled platform stack. The Software Engineer – Architecture & Infrastructure will help build and operate SAP infrastructure, support cloud deployments (Azure), and contribute to automation and platform improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or related areas.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Understanding of CI/CD, automation, or DevOps concepts.
• Exposure to networking, systems, or platform fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Platform Support: assist in building and maintaining SAP infrastructure components across environments.
• Cloud & DevOps Enablement: contribute to cloud infrastructure deployments (Azure preferred) using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• SAP Platform Operations: work with SAP Basis and platform teams on deployments, patching, and upgrades.
• Architecture & Standards Adoption: follow infrastructure standards and contribute reusable components.
• Operational Excellence: monitor systems and assist in troubleshooting and automation of routine tasks.
• Collaboration & Learning: engage with Architecture, Infrastructure, SAP Basis, and Engineering teams.
