Job summary

VELUX is seeking a skilled S&OP Specialist to drive demand planning and end-to-end supply chain planning. You will work across Marketing, Regional Management, Supply and Finance to support connected planning processes, developing scenarios and providing management-ready recommendations for strategic decisions.

You will be trained in current Demand Planning processes and tools to build understanding of the VELUX supply chain. Role involves limited travel within Denmark.

Qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, Supply Planning, Master Planning, Sales Forecasting or Supply Chain Analysis in fast-moving consumer goods.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI for analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with SAP BW/BWP data structures and data extraction.
• Finance sense to assess business cases and quantify implications of scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Bring structure to S&OP preparation and translate decisions into clear planning requirements.
• Consolidate market input, prepare scenarios and create decision material for senior management.
• Plan and facilitate Pre-S&OP meetings and topics requiring decisions.
• Develop and evaluate scenarios with Sales, Supply, Purchasing and Finance including implications for service, inventory, capacity, production and costs.
• Prepare clear decision material for Global S&OP meetings outlining alternatives, trade-offs and risks.
• Document decisions and follow up on actions, deadlines and outcomes, translating them into input for Master Planning.
