Job Description

Are you a self-starting transformation driver, strategic thinker and pragmatic deliverer, who turns a long-term vision and complex objectives into step-by-step reality and a clear path forward? Do you possess strong project management skills with the ability to translate a multi-year roadmap into smaller bricks and actionable wins, keeping momentum high as requirements evolve? Are you a gifted communicator who breaks down silos and unites cross-functional teams around a lean way of working? Do you possess the business acumen and analytical skills to spot risks and interdependencies across projects and complex organizations? If so, join us as S&OP Project Manager!

What the job is …

We have embarked on a multi-year, enterprise-wide transformation program through 2030 to support the long-term growth and industrialization of Satair and Airbus Material Services. We are redesigning the Processes, Methods, Tools and Data (PMTD) across various domains and organizations, for a lean operating model powered by a Fit-to-Standard modern ERP and harmonized processes. One of the key cornerstones of this transformation is the deployment of an integrated end-to-end Sales and Operations Planning process across various businesses.

In your position as S&OP Project Manager you will be part of a cross-functional and cross-organizational project team. In addition to designing and implementing the TO BE S&OP Processes, Methods, Tools and Data (PMTD), you will act as the key point between our external consultancy partners, internal business stakeholders and the broader enterprise transformation program.

Travel required: 15%

How you will contribute to the team

PMTD and Architecture Design and Implementation: Design the target Process, Method, Tools and Data covering customer demand, supply capacity and feedback loop mechanisms, including scenario-planning and escalation protocols across and between businesses. Partner with IT and Digital to define the future ERP requirements for S&OP, ensuring a seamless and integrated architecture between Processes and Tools.

Project Management: Define project roadmap, translate long-term ambition into short-term milestones, maintain project governance, ensure progress towards deliverables, identify and proactively manage interdependencies and risks.

Stakeholder Alignment Beyond Silos: Proactively identify and engage senior stakeholders across functions and organizations in a complex environment to drive alignment on future ways of working, overcome organizational friction and secure global process simplification and standardization.

Consultant Management: Lead the relationship with external consultants, steering their deliverables to shape our target S&OP Processes, Methods, Tools and Data (PMTD). Validate consultant proposals and recommendations against business needs and context, ensuring designs are scalable and implementable across various business units.

Strategic Escalations & Executive Briefings: Prepare executive-ready decks, high-impact decision dossiers, trade-off analysis, recommendations and progress updates for executive forums and the central Transformation steering.

ERP Fit-to-Standard (F2S): Drive business readiness and stakeholder participation across multi-functional teams for F2S workshops to design the future ERP requirements. Safeguard S&OP scope requirements within the central ERP system, ensuring seamless alignment between S&OP process and the future ERP capabilities.
