Job summary

Roskilde Library in Roskilde, Denmark, seeks a highly organized Librarian to join our team and help the community access knowledge and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Experience in a library or similar setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of library systems, procedures and resources.
• Excellent customer service skills with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage the library's collection through cataloging, shelving, and weed­ing outdated materials.
• Assist patrons with research inquiries and help them find resources.
• Recommend new materials for purchase based on patron requests and trends.
• Plan and execute engaging library programs and events for all ages.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized atmosphere in the library.
• Train and supervise library staff when necessary.
