Job summary

Roskilde Library in Roskilde, Denmark, seeks a highly organized Librarian to join our team and help the community access knowledge and resources.

We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Roskilde Denmark

Join our team at the Roskilde Library as a Librarian and make a difference in our community by providing access to knowledge and resources

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the librarys collection by cataloging shelving and weeding out outdated materials
• Assist patrons with research inquiries and help them find the resources they need
• Recommend new materials for purchase based on patron requests and current trends
• Plan and execute engaging library programs and events for all ages
• Maintain an organized and welcoming atmosphere in the library at all times
• Train and supervise library staff members when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Library Science or a related field
• Previous experience working in a library or similar setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of library systems procedures and resources
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary

This position offers a salary of $1700 per month along with accommodation in Roskilde
