Universal Robots in Odense, Denmark, is seeking an experienced Release Manager to own the software release stack—firmware, controller, and PolyScope—and ensure releases reach tens of thousands of cobots globally. You will lead through structured planning, risk assessment, and clear communication with engineering managers, QA, hardware teams, and product management.

You will drive release reviews, coordinate with production, and continuously improve release processes with automation and tooling,

Formación

• 5+ years in release management or software project management.
• Experience with agile development teams within a project organization.
• Solid software engineering grounding; ability to discuss with engineers (Git, C++, Python, Rust).
• Fluency in written and spoken English; able to work on-site in Odense.

Responsabilidades

• Drive the release plan and PI execution from planning to general availability and patch releases.
• Coordinate across the stack: firmware, controller, and application software.
• Run release reviews and go/no-go decisions for ready-to-ship releases.
• Coordinate hands-on with production to deploy releases onto robots on the production line.
• Lead configuration management: versioning, branching, and release baselines with traceability.
• Continuously improve release flows and build tooling/automation for faster, reliable releases.
• Communicate release status to engineers and senior leadership clearly.
