Job summary

RightHand Robotics seeks a Field Deployment Engineer to lead the successful implementation of robotic systems in customer warehouses and fulfillment centers. You will collaborate with engineering and GTM teams to ensure customer success, configure and test software/hardware, and perform on-site integration.

The role requires strong communication and the ability to travel extensively, including international visits.

Qualifications

BS in EE/ME/CS or equivalent.
Experience in services or deployment engineering positions is a plus.
Fundamental programming knowledge; Linux and/or Python a plus.
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Willingness to stand for long periods during robot testing.
Willingness to travel 50–100% monthly, including international visits.

Responsibilities

Lead deployment of robotic systems in customer warehouses and fulfillment centers.
Configure, calibrate, and test software and hardware for deployments.
Conduct on-site integration, testing, and evaluate post-go-live metrics.
Serve as primary field contact for customers during install and go-live.
Perform retrofits, upgrades, and repairs; troubleshoot with engineers.
Contribute to engineering and business development projects at HQ.
Support marketing efforts by deploying demo systems at events.
Lead and assist in-person and remote customer training.
