About the Role Risks & Opportunities Manager operates in the four-level Governance model, with Level 3 Project-management routines used for cross-Project coordination, milestone synchronisation, escalation and acceptance preparation. It supports the Supplier obligation to define, plan, manage and carry out the Design and Implementation Period and to adhere to the Contract Management and Governance Model. Its specific contribution is to maintain risk/opportunity register; coordinate scoring and mitigation; track contingencies; elevate significant risks.
Accountable for risk process integrity and transparent reporting of exposure and opportunity value.
Authorised to challenge weak mitigations, request owners and elevate high-exposure items to Governance.
Recommends contingency actions but does not independently release budget or change baselines.
Make risk and opportunity management a practical decision tool rather than a passive reporting exercise.
