Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics A/S in Birkerød, Denmark, seeks a Reward & Benefits Lead to own pay reviews, market benchmarking, benefits, and job architecture with Workday as the core tool. A proactive rewards professional is needed to optimise our rewards solutions in a dynamic, delivery‑driven environment.

You will collaborate with HR Directors and leaders across the organisation to ensure consistent reward decisions, maintain cross‑country pay equity, and drive reporting for budgeting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Three to four years hands-on experience in reward, compensation, benefits, or a closely related field including pay reviews, market benchmarking, benefits, incentive schemes, and job architecture.
• Experience managing reward or benefit activities across different countries, including cross-border pay equity and benefit plans.
• Mercer benchmarking data/tools experience to compare jobs and pay across markets.
• Workday configuration of job profiles and running pay reviews; English fluency.

About the role

In this role, you will own and develop our Reward and benefits processes across the company. The scope includes our annual pay review, market benchmarking, benefits and incentive schemes, job architecture, and Rewards activities. This role would suit a proactive Rewards professional who has previously perhaps worked in a team and is looking for their first stand alone. The expectations on you are to further develop and optimise our recently implemented rewards solutions, in particular in Workday, and support all of the company's rewards processes. Our company is evolving fast and so an enjoyment of a dynamic and demanding environment with a delivery focus is essential for success.

What you will do

What you bring

• Essential Three to four years of hands-on experience in reward, compensation, benefits, or a closely related field that includes pay reviews, market benchmarking, benefits, incentive schemes, and job architecture.
• Experience managing reward or benefit activities across different countries, including cross-border pay equity and benefit plans.
• Hands-on experience using Mercer / Mercer Win benchmarking data and tools to compare jobs and pay across different markets.
• Workday experience is a must, particularly configuring job profiles, job architecture and running pay reviews.
• Professional fluency in English. undefined undefined

Your team and key relationships

You will work closely with HR Directors, HR colleagues, business leaders, and managers across the organisation. Together, you will support a clear understanding of our reward frameworks and help managers make consistent reward decisions.The role also involves maintaining relationships with external reward groups and professional networks.
