Job summary

Arla Foods is hiring for a maternity-cover scientist in Aarhus N to lead scientific direction in nutrition research areas such as the Dairy Matrix and Healthy, Sustainable Diets. You will translate research into opportunities for innovation and stakeholder engagement, working with Public Affairs and nutrition experts to strengthen Arla’s health agenda.

Qualifications

• MSc and PhD in nutrition with research experience in Dairy Matrix and/or Sustainable Healthy Diets.
• Commercial experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Keep up to date with the latest science in nutrition research areas.
• Develop, evaluate, and mature new research ideas supporting research goals.
• Prepare clear, high-quality project proposals for governance forums.
• Manage ongoing research projects within areas of responsibility.
• Provide scientific and strategic input to new project ideas.
• Identify risks, resource needs and practical solutions to keep projects on track.
• Work across functions to translate scientific insights into business opportunities.
