Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Aalborg seeks a versatile engineer to support internal R&D and advance 5G/6G solutions. You will perform protocol and RF analysis, develop automation tools, and collaborate with global teams.

The role combines C++, CUDA, Python development with real-time, low-latency systems work, channel modeling, and digital twin concepts. You will contribute to test frameworks and new software features across research and product development.

Qualifications

• Wireless and cellular tech (LTE, 5G NR, 5G Advanced, 6G concepts).
• Experience with C# application development and automation.
• C++/CUDA and Python software development skills.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering workflows.
• Understanding of computer architectures, parallel computing, GPU processing, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of real-time systems, low-latency software design, and deterministic processing.
• Interest in wireless channel modeling, propagation simulation, and digital twin technologies.
• Experience with system integration, validation, and test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across research, product development, and customer-driven projects in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Protocol and RF analysis of lab test and measurement results for 5G NR, LTE, and NTN.
• 5G/6G use case analysis.
• 5G protocol and RF verification in laboratory environments.
• Issue analysis related to channel and protocol emulation within our SW test solution framework.
• Python-based software development for automation and analysis.
• Active cooperation with worldwide Keysight teams.
• Support the design, implementation, and validation of new software products using C++/CUDA, Python, and C#.
• Specifying and evaluating solution-level features.
