Job summary

DTU Construct in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark seeks a Research Assistant for the Thermal Energy section to develop a high-pressure ammonia flow rig and run test campaigns with ammonia pump components from collaborating partners.

You must hold a master’s degree in engineering. The position is a 1-year full-time appointment in an international research environment, with collaborative opportunities and a strong emphasis on safety and data analysis.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with ammonia handling in test setups.
  • Experience with LabVIEW programming and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a high-pressure ammonia flow rig.
  • Conduct test campaigns with ammonia pump components.
  • Design and wire electronic data acquisition and control systems.
  • Perform data processing on large experimental datasets.
  • Apply FEM analysis on mechanical components.
