Job summary

DTU Chemical Engineering in Lyngby is seeking a detail-oriented laboratory technician to support research activities focused on CO2 capture, utilization and storage. Qualifications

  • Relevant educational background e.g. laboratory technician or equivalent technical experience.
  • Enjoy hands-on work and are not afraid of challenges.
  • Training in high-pressure systems and gas handling will be provided.
  • Swagelok fittings, tubing, and instrumentation will be developed.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory measurements and sample analysis
  • Prepare, assemble, and maintain experimental setups
  • Assist researchers and students with experiments and operation of laboratory equipment
  • Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and systems
  • Maintain facilities and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment
  • Develop and improve experimental methods and laboratory procedures
  • Participate in safety activities and promote best practices
