Job summary

DTU Chemical Engineering seeks a detail-oriented laboratory technician to support our CO2 capture and utilization research. You will perform routine measurements, prepare experiments, maintain high‑pressure equipment, and assist researchers and students in the lab.

You will contribute to safe, efficient, and well‑organized laboratories, help develop experimental setups, and participate in safety activities within an international research environment at Lyngby, Denmark.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background e.g. laboratory technician or equivalent technical experience.
• You enjoy practical, hands-on work and adapt to new techniques and setups.
• We will educate you in high-pressure systems and gas handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory measurements and sample analysis.
• Prepare, assemble, and maintain experimental setups.
• Assist researchers and students with laboratory experiments and operation of equipment.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and experimental systems.
• Maintain laboratory facilities and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of experimental methods and laboratory procedures.
• Participate in safety activities and promote good laboratory practices.
