Job summary

MMCC Global is seeking a Student Assistant / Junior Controller in Denmark to help design a cost-efficient, compliant financial ecosystem for an international NGO. You will analyze multi-currency needs, compare QuickBooks with Danish cloud ERP, and plan transitions of bookkeeping to Afghanistan when cost-effective.

Responsibilities include project budget tracking, cash-flow forecasting, and Danish regulatory compliance, with flexible remote options and Copenhagen as a meeting hub.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze multi-currency and project-tracking needs to select cost-effective software.
• Evaluate QuickBooks vs Danish cloud ERP (e.g., e-conomic/Uniconta) for compliance and licensing.
• Plan and execute transition of day-to-day bookkeeping if cost-efficient.
• Create split-accounting: abroad bookkeeping with Danish payroll & oversight.
• Prepare RFP to source an NGO-savvy auditor in Denmark.
• Monitor donor budgets and project spending; forecast liquidity and cash flow.
• Ensure Danish regulatory compliance (§8A, SKAT, Indsamlingsnævnet).
